I have so much left to post from this collection which is probably my favourite overall and the holiday collection I purchased the most from! I always love when Shu Uemura does collaborations with cute motifs and the Murakami collection has definitely ranked itself as one of my all-time favourites! Shu Uemura always impresses with their holiday collection and with the dual theme this year it was fun to figure out if I was a pink or black princess.
Truthfully I think I prefer the black princess makeup but of course all the online promo had me in the pink princess category. This palette was also beautiful so I can’t say I mind!
The pink themed Heart-full palette is warm-toned with a mix of pale golds and creams, and a pink blush. Unlike previous holiday palettes there is no cream liner shade which I’m grateful for as I find that cream and powder combo palettes tend to get messy! The heart-full palette also includes a coordinating blush. Swatches were done on bare skin with no primer and my fingertips 🙂
I love this palette for a day look – it’s very sweet and I can see it being a good introduction to makeup as well! The eyeshadows are blendable, have good pigmentation and all coordinate so if you’re having a lazy makeup day or need a go to work look this palette has everything.
