After what felt like WEEKS of waiting Chanel Fall finally hit all the counters in Calgary (and downtown, at least, all on the same day)! Now if you follow me on twitter you’ve probably seen my numerous assertions that I had no ‘lemmings’ from Chanel fall – and I didn’t – BUT I have a weakness for attending makeup events at Holt Renfrew as I always have a lovely time and I’m rarely disappointed in the results.
So of course, when Kim called me to let me know that they were having a special event for the new products with Jason, their national trainer, I signed up (knowing I’d probably end up with lemmings as a result).
This is a peek of the set-up at Holt Renfrew Calgary 🙂 I first had a skincare consultation and application with one of the SAs before I was passed onto Jason! He was absolutely lovely and provided the right amount of conversation during the makeover – we mostly chatted about current and upcoming Chanel products. I personally find it quite awkward when they are either totally silent or ask personal questions! Jason was lovely and gave me a hand-held mirror so that I could ‘follow along’ and made sure to explain techniques.
He also offered to take pictures during the makeover but I stuck with this lovely one at the end, and taking pictures of the complete set 🙂
I am so incredibly happy with the final look! Jason asked how ‘adventurous’ I was feeling and I told him that I was willing to wear anything once. Somehow when I say this at makeovers this means I end up with a super smoky eye, but as it’s not a look I wear on myself, I was perfectly happy with that!
Jason was also kind enough to give me a list of what he used, otherwise you would not get a product list 😉
